Made with whole wheat flour, ripe bananas and eggs, these tasty pancakes are perfect to start your day. Here is an easy recipe to make banana pancakes at home:

1 cup whole wheat flour, 4 tsp white sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, 1 egg, 1 1/2 cup milk, 25 ml vegetable oil, 1 banana (mashed), 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp butter

Whisk egg in a bowl and add butter, honey and vanilla essence to it. Whisk well. Add mashed banana to it and mix well.

Now sift flour and baking powder to the mixture. Mix well. Keep adding milk to the mixture while whisking until it is smooth. Then heat a pan.

Pour or scoop the batter onto it, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
