Life becomes a lot easier if we learn to accept things for as they are instead of trying to shake them or ourselves in the process. When we accept with a clear mind, we let go of the urge to control things. The similar urge to control one’s self stems from low self esteem and hurt from rejection that wasn’t overcome. Overtime if this wound isn’t mended it can result into unhealthy coping mechanisms. Self acceptance is a medicine that can cure many bruises on one’s self esteem and intra personal dynamics.
