Cyberbullying & Psychological Impacts

This session will involve a discussion on cyberbullying, the different forms of it and the mental health impact it has on people. It will also look into ways through which we can cope with the negative impacts & also talk about the psychological motivations behind cyberbullying. We shall conclude the session with ideas to build a more ethical, bullying-free cyberspace.

The session will be led by Astha Ahluwalia (Chief Psychologist, Therapist, and Mental Wellbeing Trainer at Reboot Wellness) & Sunandita Singh (Counselling Psychologist).

Astha is the Chief Psychologist, Therapist and Partner at Reboot Wellness. Her approach to therapy lies in compassion and connection, and she believes in helping her clients identify their strengths and develop resilience to deal with the challenges of life. She is a dynamic Psychologist with multidisciplinary skills that combine foresight and imagination for creatively addressing mental health concerns. Driven by a strong desire to bring about a change in how mental health is perceived in India, Astha has been working in the field since 2007. With over 12 years of experience, she has successfully established credibility in the areas of counselling and wellness, assessment and behavioural analysis, and training and coaching. She has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, followed by a Second Masters in Family Mental Health from London, England.

Sunandita is an experienced Counselling Psychologist with a specialisation in working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. She completed her MSC in Psychology from (Essex, UK) and has a certification in Child and Adolescent Mental health. Over 8 years, Sunandita has developed a holistic approach for working towards the development of children and adolescents. She has worked with a number of educational institutes providing support to them to cope with challenges related to mental well-being, extreme emotions, distressed relationships, and life skills enhancement.

Registration fees for this workshop is Rs. 100 per head & certificates will be provided for all attendees. The session will be held on 27th June at 4:30 PM IST.
