Her training and experience allows her to work effectively with experiences recognized as mental health disorders, trauma, abuse, bereavement and loss.
The range of her previous work, be it exposure as a school counsellor, or working with young people on the margins of the society, has made her believe in the power of a collective. A while ago she visited Israel as a National Delegate and was able to closely experience how resilience of communities helps them cope with conflict and trauma in their daily lives. It allowed her to understand trauma both as an individual and collective experience.Thereby, she also extends her work as a trainer, supervisor and facilitator to bring about individual and systemic shifts oriented towards wellbeing. Her research interest ranges from stigma and oppression of mental health issues, interpersonal intimate relationships, and amalgamating social action with psychotherapy practice.
