Sexuality is a topic which has obtained a singular, rigid character in our society due to conventional viewpoints which are passed on from generation to generation. But quite often, some of us might encounter some insecurities and reservations regarding our own identity relative to societal standards. This can be quite a traumatizing experience for our minds as we try to choose between self-expression and acceptance in mainstream society.

Malavika works as the Workshop Facilitator at the Centre for Studies in Gender and Sexuality at Ashoka University. She works at the intersection of gender, sexuality, disability, mental health and art. She is also a dance/ movement therapy practitioner and loves facilitating therapeutic spaces for groups.
